Weekly Favorites #1

This week I've been using a mixture of brands and products and stepped away from my usual staples.
I've been sticking to quite a fresh, neutral face with lots of light bronzer and bold brows.

Urban Decay Naked Basics (£23.00 ) - After falling in love the Naked Palette I decided to splash out on the smaller size. Naked Basics has six neutral shades which are great for everyday as well as evening looks.

Urban Decay Eye Pencil in LSD (£15.50) - A gorgeous petrol blue eye pencil. This takes a smokey neutral eye up a notch when used in the waterline or smudged under the lower lash line. UD pencils are always super soft and highly pigmented.

L'Oreal True Match Foundation in Natural Ivory (£9.99) - For some reason I've always avoided True Match, clearly I was bonkers as it is bloomin fantastic, I'll be doing a full review of this shortly.

Eldora Lashes C143 (£4.90 ) - My favorite lashes at the moment, I love a lash that is longer in the centre, normally I snip these in half and use one lash for both eyes. It gives a lovely cat eye effect. If you look after them they last for ages.

Michael Kors Bronzing Powder in Sporty Glow (£34.00) - Quite possibly the biggest bronzer I have ever seen. I'm not a huge bronzer fan however MK has won me over. The powder itself will probably last for 100 years. Its lovely and sheer so no chance of that muddy face look.

Dior Lip Glow (£24.00) - This was a complete impulse buy as I'd normally never spend over £2 on what is essentially a lipbalm. I absolutely love it though, I'm not really a lipstick wearer so this is perfect for me. Its a "your lips but better" product, really flattering for any skintone and has a cool minty scent.

Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel in Glimpse (£18.50) - Brow Gel is one of Illamasqua's newest products. My usual go to brow product is the brow cake but I'm now a total gel convert. The formula glides on and is easy to control ensuring you have perfect brows every time.

Illamasqua Powder Eyeshadow in Heroine (£15.50) - Hands down my favorite contour product, I've tried other powders but always go back to this. Its technically an eyeshadow but who am I to follow the rules? Heroine is an ashy, taupe shade, perfect for those with paler skin tones. I use this in the hollows of my cheeks, jawline, nose and it makes a great transition shade for a smokey eye.

BareMinerals Stroke of Light in Luminous (£22.00) - I admit, I've been going to town with this recently. If you are looking for a subtle, non shimmer, highlighter then this is for you. It does a fantastic job of hiding dark circles while giving the skin a beautiful radiant glow.

Artelac Rebalance (£6.95) & Artelac Night-time Gel (£4.99) - An amazing eye product created by eyecare specialists Bausch & Lomb. Its a two part system with a cooling gel to apply at night and drops for when your eyes need a little extra hydration. My eyes always feel tired and dry due to the air conditioning at work and spending the majority of my time in the city. This really helps soothe and rehydrate my eyes. A total lifesaver for me. You can buy these products in Specsavers and most independent pharmacies.

Topshop Nail Varnish in Mercury Rising (£5.00 ) - 99.9% of the time, my nail polish is black, makes a nice change or topcoat. The orangey glitter make it really stand out too me. I think this shade is sold out online however you may be lucky to find it in-store.
