Christmas Gift Guide for Men

Monday, December 16, 2013

Finding a great Christmas present for the Mr is notoriously difficult for me. For some reason he always has a nonchalant attitude near Christmas and birthdays which causes me a great deal of stress in trying to find him a gift.

I'm sure I'm not alone in this so I've put together a few tips and gift ideas for your special man this year;

The main things to avoid when buying gifts for men are, aftershave, socks, underpants and Lynx gift sets of any description. Unless you are his Gran, then stay away from these items.
Food and Alcohol normally go down quite well however they also won't be remembered 30 seconds post consumption and he might forget your bought him anything at all.

If your Mr is a music lover like mine then head on over to Juno Records. You can find nearly any type and format of music as well as some DJ tools, clothing and accessories. Last year I managed to get him a limited edition vinyl for a total steal.

For the film buff check out the movie section of Truffle Shuffle they have loads of cool clothing and accessories from different cult classics The Goonies Forever tshirt (£19.99) and the Bill and Ted tshirt (£19.99) are some of my personal favs.

Watches are always a good call, men seem to come over all geeky at the mere sight of a shiny chronograph. As its Christmas its always nice to spent that little bit more and go for something timeless and special. David M. Robinson have some beautiful timepieces including mens Rolex watches and luxury Omega watches. Nothing says love more than splashing out on an amazing wrist addition for your other half.

Failing either of those, you can always raid Firebox.com for some quirky gifts, I love the Georgia Moonshine (£29.00) and the Star Trek Pizza Cutter (£24.99)
