Wet N Wild Trio Eyeshadow Review - I Dream of Greenie

Wednesday, October 03, 2012

If you are anything like me and sometimes, on a lazy makeup day find it difficult to think of eyeshadow combinations that work together well then these Wet n Wild eyeshadow trio's are exactly what you need.

They come in a variety of colours and each set includes three complimentary shades, one for highlighting the browbone, one for the lid and a crease shade.
The shadow itself in the pan is also printed with the suggested area to apply but you can always mix and match these if it takes your fancy.

Wet n Wild eyeshadows are famed for being very pigmented, soft and easy to blend and since I've been using them I can confirm I agree wholeheartedly with this.

One of my favorite Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Trio's is I Dream of Greenie.
I'm a huge fan of green eyeshadow shades so the eyeshadows included in this set are right up my street.

The highlight shade in this kit is a little "out there" as it is a very pale, minty green, so may not be something you would like to wear on a daily basis, however it does make for a really funky clubbing look.
I'd suggest applying the lid colour all over the lid and then the highlight just above the browbone and blend down into the crease shade.

The lid shade is my favorite its a gorgeous chaurtreusse-lime which is really bright.

The crease shade is a really pretty grassy green this looks really nice used all over the lid too.

These eyeshadow trios are really handy for popping into your handbag for touchups or for changing a makeup look from day to night wear.  They come with a little brush and a sponge tipped appliator which are great for on the go application.

Unfortunately Wet n Wild products aren't available to buy in any stores in Glasgow or the UK as far as I am aware as they are a US based company but you can find these products on Amazon or eBay for a few £££s.
