MAC Lipstick Review - Bronze Shimmer

Monday, October 08, 2012

I have loads of MAC lipsticks and some of my favorites are more unusual shades.

A lipstick I adore and feel is very under-rated is Bronze Shimmer.

Bronze Shimmer is part of MAC's permanent lipstick line and is a Frost finish. It is a beautiful, neutral, true-gold shade which surprisingly for a Frost finish is very non-drying and long lasting.
Its a very metallic shade and can look a little 80's but I personally think its fab. I wear it on nights out all the time.

A lot of people may find Bronze Shimmer a bit too "out-there" which worn alone I can see why, however it also looks amazing worn dabbed over other lipsticks to add a bit of depth and texture.
I like to wear this over MAC's Fresh Brew lipstick as I often find Fresh Brew is a little too nude for me but with Bronze Shimmer its perfect.

It also looks great with a coloured lipgloss over the top, I like to wear it with MAC Lovechild Lipglass on nights out with a dark smoky eye.

Bronze Shimmer is a great statement lipstick and is great for a night out. I'll be wearing this a lot for Autumn nights out and Bonfire night parties.
It has the same sweet vanilla scent as most MAC lipsticks which I love.

MAC Lipsticks are available from the MAC website and counters for £14.00

The MAC Counters in Glasgow are in House of Fraser on Argyle Street and Debenhams in Silverburn.
