My Christmas Party Look from St. Enoch Centre

Monday, November 28, 2016

I'm never one to turn down a challenge so when St. Enoch Centre set me the task of creating a Christmas Party look using products bought from the centre I was all over it!

I've been wearing a really dark, navy, smoky eye a lot so this time I decided to do something a little bit different.
Before I could even think about doing my makeup, I had to actually go and buy some. I decided that now was as good a time as any to treat myself to some new brushes for the occasion.
I headed to Boots and luckily Real Techniques brushes were on the 3 for 2 offer so I picked up the Your Picks Berlin set (£24.99), the Highlight and Glow set (£19.99) and the Multi Tasking Kabuki set (£19.99).

To start off my face I used Urban Decay's All Nighter Foundation (£27.00) from Debenhams which I wasn't 100% on at first but now absolutely adore. For my skin type I definitely need a primer under it as it is a little drying.
I've heard great things about The Body Shop's Instablur Primer (£14.00) so I made sure to pick up a tube while in the centre. This stuff is fantastic especially if you suffer from really noticeable pores like me.
I ended up grabbing a few more Urban Decay goodies to use for this look including the Naked Ultimate Basics Palette (£38.50). Liquid Moondust in Retrograde (£15.00) and Afterglow Highlighter in Sin (£19.00)(that I've been coveting for ages but has been forever sold out)
I actually used the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics palette for my contour, blusher and eyeshadow, It's a really versatile palette considering its mostly matte. I absolutely love it!
A friend recommended the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara (£19.00) to me a while ago but for some reason I haven't tried it yet. I thought now was as good a time as any to give it a go and luckily Debenhams had a good stock of them
To finish off the look I used the Illamasqua Matte Lip Liquid in Exoskeleton (£18.50) from the Extinct Collection and patted some Liquid Moondust on top to add some shimmer.
