Silverburn Your 5 Autumn Winter Styling

Monday, October 24, 2016

A few months ago, I attended Silverburn's Your 5 Summer beauty and fashion event. The concept of Your 5 is that a stylist will help you find your perfect seasonal, capsule wardrobe from five key pieces of clothing. I had a fantastic time and was really pleased to visit again recently for their Autumn/Winter Your 5 event.

I popped along with my friend Lynsay and had a fantastic time with Silverburn's stylist picking our favorite pieces from each of this seasons key items. The key pieces for Autmn/Winter are the Coat, the Ankle Boot, The Knit, The Wide-leg Trousers and the skirt. We have quite different styles and tastes in clothing but we both managed too find something we loved from each. I really liked a burgundy cord pocket mini skirt from Oasis as well as some lovely black New Look Ankle Boots.
We also had a consultation with a makeup artist to talk us through each of the trends for this season which included contour and highlighting, a red lip, winged liner and a smudged eye.

After visiting the Your5 event I had a wander around the centre to find an outfit for a wedding. Armed with my Silverburn Plus app I was sure I'd find something. The app is free in the App store and offers loads and loads of discounts and deals from restaurants to clothes. As Silverburn is so big, I sometimes I forget where stores are located in the centre but the app includes a really handy sat-nav type map that helps you find your way around.

After visiting a lot of shops, I eventually picked up a beautiful, black star embellished dress from River Island with beading detail. I'm really looking forward to wearing it as it is very comfortable and flattering. I also popped into Debenhams and treated myself to the MAC Cool Neutrals 15 Pan Palette I've had my eye on for a while. It contains a mixture of neutral and dark, burgundy shades which will be perfect for this time of the year.

Clarins, who have a concession and beauty bar in Debenhams, were also holding a beauty carnival on the day I visited the centre. They had an adorable miniature fairground set up with a little ferris wheel and hook the duck games to win products. I thought it was a lovely idea.
I think its great that Silverburn are really embracing events in the centre as it makes shopping even more enjoyable.

You can download the Silverburn Plus app free via the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
