Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Collection

Wednesday, January 20, 2016

Urban Decay absolutely killed in in 2015 with their product launches. The Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette launched in December was just part one of the amazing collaboration with the blonde starlet.
The Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette is a staple on my dressing table. I've used it almost every day since I got my hands on it. It's so versatile and allows even eyeshadow novices to create beautiful makeup looks.

Part two of the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani UDxGwen collection launches in the UK on the 21st January and looks simply perfect. The rest of the collection includes a six shade blusher palette, eyebrow kit, eight lipsticks and eight lip-liners. The packaging for the collection is beautiful and features the same white and gold patterns as the eyeshadow palette.

The Gwen Stefani Blush Palette (£35.00) contains a mix of pink, bronze and peachy tones which should suit most skin tones. These have the same eight-hour formula as the Urban Decay Afterglow Blushers which launched last summer so should definitely pack a punch in terms of colour payoff.

Cherry - light pink satin
Easy - deep rose with gold shimmer
Angel - champagne nude shimmer
Lo-Fi - soft bronze matte
Hush - medium pink with gold shimmer
OC - soft pink with peach shift

Urban Decay's brow boxes have always been incredibly popular however I've found the shades available to be a little dark for my hair colour. The Gwen Stefani Brow Box (£19.50) comes in the shade Bathwater Blonde which would suit those with blonde hair like Gwen as well as those with dirty blonde to medium brown hair. The kit contains a powder brow colour, brow wax, highlighting powder, two brushes and a teeny tiny pair of tweezers.

Eight lipsticks and six matching lip-liners complete the collection. The Gwen Stefani lipsticks (£16.00) all brand new shades all with super creamy textures. The Gwen Stefani Glide-On 24/7 Lip Pencils (£14.00) created for the collection are creamy and waterproof while helping the lipstick to stay put.

Rock Steady (Cream) - deep wine red
714 (Mega Matte) - bright red
Ex-Girlfriend (Sheer) - nude rose with pink shimmer
Firebird (Cream) - deep fuchsia
Wonderland (Cream) - dark pink-red
Spiderweb (Cream) - satin red
Phonecall (Sheer) - bright pink
Plaid (Sheer) - deep berry

I think this collection is perfect and can't wait to get my hands on it. The prices for both eyeshadow and blush palette is fantastic and both hold every shade you'd ever need.
The Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Collection is available via the Urban Decay website from 21st January 2016.
