Creightons Haircare Range

Wednesday, July 29, 2015

I spend a huge amount of time taking care of my skin however I am a serial offender when it comes to doing anything with my hair. I frequently miss trims at the hairdresser and don't really have any specific products that I use regularly.

Thankfully my hair seems to be on my side and is fairly low maintenance as its very straight and looks semi-decent if (that's a big if) I run a brush through it. I find it often looks a bit limp and sort of hangs there sometimes, Ideally I'd love to have some volume and movement.
I've been trying out some new hair products recently which are from the Poundshop of all places. I bloomin love the Poundshop/Home Bargains/B&M, they are often overlooked but they usually have some great products which are a total steal.

I've been using Creightons Volume Pro Shampoo and Conditioner for the past few weeks and I've been really pleasantly surprised at the performance of a little known brand. These products claim to give Big Volume, Body and Bounce and contain texturising sea-salt, thickening pro-vitamin B5 and conditioning wheat protein.  The shampoo lathers up well and left my hair feeling very clean. The conditioner has a bit of an odd consistency, its not smooth like most conditioners, which I think is due to the sea-salt. I usually leave the conditioner in for a few minutes while I use my Clarisonic then rinse it off.
I've used sea-salt products in the past and often found they leave a bit of residue in my hair which can weigh it down, however I'm pleased to report that my hair felt clean and light. I didn't notice a massive difference in volume but its definitely blow drying a with a little more oomph (very technical hairdressing term).

For a pound each I think this range is great and definitely worth a go.
