Real Techniques Brushes Nic's Picks

A girl can never have too many makeup brushes!
I have loads already but I always like to try out new ones. I've used Real Techniques before and have a few favorites but I was looking forward to trying out Nic's Picks. This set was a Christmas gift and I've been using it a lot over the past month.

Nic's Picks are are collection of Nic's (one half of makeup artistry duo Pixiewoo) favorite brushes. There are five brushes in total within this kit and they come with silver/chrome look shiny handles. The brushes themselves are chunky but fairly lightweight.I believe the set is limited edition and also contains a few brushes not available as singles/in other sets.

The set includes;

Duo-Fibre Face Brush - I like to use this to blend out any streaks in my foundation or to apply a fine dusting of powder. Its very soft and fluffy so great for applying products sparingly.
Cheek Brush - My favorite brush from the set. I like to use this to apply highlighter, its super soft.
Angled Shadow Brush - The shape of this brush is great for buffing eyeshadow into the crease, also for contouring the sides of the nose.
Base Shadow Brush - I like to use this to pack on colour to my lids, good for blending out too.
Eyeliner Brush - This was perfect for filling in my brows, unfortunately I seem to have misplaced it so will have to get myself another ASAP!

You can find Real Techniques Brushes in Boots (£29.99) and several online stores such as FeelUnique (£29.99) and Very. Gordons Pharmacy have this set for £19.99 at the moment which is a bit of a bargain!
