I love Valentine's Day, I know a lot of people may find it a little cheesy but I enjoy the day itself and the sentiment.
This year we had a quiet Valentines Day and just went out for a nice meal.
I used this opportunity to wear my gorgeous Never Fully Dressed Embroidered Organza Skater Dress (£29.50) from Spoiled Brat. Words can't express how much I love this, the dress comes in one size which would fit an size 8 to a small size 12. I have a million little black dresses but the embroidered flower detail mean this dress really stands out from others.

I styled this look with my Starry ankle boots from Republic (I love these but sadly the store has now closed), Red heart pendant from H&M, Michael Kors Watch and Vivienne Westwood Handbag.

I subconsciously chose all Benefit products for my Valentines makeup, funnily enough this wasn't deliberate. Benefit's World Famous Neutrals Sexiest Nudes Ever eye kit is perfect for creating a smokey eye with a subtle pink undertones. I also used some old Benefit favoruites They're Real mascara, Coralista Blush and Gloss and High Beam highlighter. I used Agent Zero Shine powder as it really does keep my t-zone looking matte all day long.

Afterwards we ended up getting totally soaked at the Electric Glen in Rouken Glen park, which is a winter light show/woodland walk. I got changed into wellies, jeans and several jumpers for this though, much too muddy to wear nice clothes.
