Valentines Day Gift Guide with St. Enoch Centre

Thursday, February 06, 2014

If your other half is anything like mine he/she will need a little nudge in the right direction when it comes to Valentines day.

St Enoch Centre, Glasgow is the place to send them this year, its huge array of shops means there will be something to suit even the pickiest wife/partner/girlfriend (I should know, after a few years of flowers from the garage and old box of milk tray, I've come to expect something a bit nicer these days after a few stern words). If you are single and fabulous this Valentines why not treat yourself to something lovely too!

My ultimate favourite scent is Grapefruit, I spritz my Body Shop Grapefruit EDT at any given opportunity so the Pure Grapefruit Parfumer candle from Arran Aromatics is the perfect gift for me. I'm on my third one of these candles in about a year, they last for ages (around 35 hour burn time) and have a beautiful light, citrus scent. - £14.50 from Arran Aromatics

Moriconi is where you want to visit for all things jewelery, the Heart Mesh Bracelet is perfect for a first valentines day gift as it is subtle enough to give to a new partner without having to worry about being too full on. (eg. a diamond ring for your first together probably is a little much and a plastic necklace from Claire's probably not quite enough, this bracelet is perfect) - £35.00 from Moriconi

No Valentines day is complete without a bit of chocolate.
I'm not a huge fan of eating chocolate however I do like the scent so The Body Shop's new Chocomania range is great for those like me or if you fancy a little cocoa hit without the calories.
The range has a gorgeous real chocolate scent and features everything from body butters and soaps to perfumes and oils, nothing artificial or overly sweet though. I actually had to stop the Mr from attempting to eat the soaps. - Chocomania  Body Butter £13 and Soaps £7 from The Body Shop

Finally, for those who just can't resist something not quite as guilt-free, Kimbles have the perfect blend of decadent and delicious chocolates.
I feel I don't have to say much about these as this beautiful box of chocs really does speak for itself. In the words of Miss Trunchbull, these chocolates are "Much too good for children" (and boyfriends/husbands/partners)  - £26.00 from Kimbles

Have a lovely Valentines Day when it comes!
