MUA Pearl Eyeshadow Shade 24 - Review

Saturday, November 24, 2012

MUA single eyeshadows have always been a favourite of mine, they come in a huge variety of colours and they are super cheap.

If you are anything like me you may be a little wary about the quality of cheaper eyeshadows, but fear not, these little goodies from MUA at Superdrug put some of the more expensive brands (cough, MAC I'm looking at you) to shame by showing us that you can create fantastic quality products and not charge a fortune for them.

MUA single eyeshadows come in either matte or pearl finishes, both are equally as good, I've yet to find one that I'm not a fan of.
The Pearl formulas are my favorite and the latest to join my collection is shade 24.

Shade 24 is a beautiful shimmery, brown shade leaning towards being slightly copper toned, which I think will be perfect for adding a little bit of warmth to my eyes in this wintery season.

As with all MUA pearl eyeshadows this shade is buttery soft and really easy to blend.
They come housed in sturdy black plastic casing with a clear hinged lid, nothing fancy but does the job well as these shadows tend to crack if bumped about a little.
I prefer to depot my MUA eyshadows into larger palettes, I buy mine on ebay from this seller for about £2.50.

The only thing about the MUA collection is I'd prefer the shades to be named rather than have numbers but for the price and quality I mustn't grumble.

You can buy MUA single eyeshadows from most Superdrug stores, Superdrug website and also the MUA website, they cost the bargainous price of £1.00 which means you can treat yourself to more than one.
