Natural Collection Pressed Powder Neutral - Review

Wednesday, October 17, 2012

Natural Collection is a brand that most of us will know and love. I grew up using this brand and can clearly remember my first experiments with colour correcting products being a green corrector.
As I'm off on holiday and my usual face powder (Illamasqua Powder Foundation) isn't great for taking out and about as it often breaks when being bumped about in my bag. I needed a cheap but still decent powder to take with me.

Straight away I went to the Natural Collection section of Boots as I knew I would find exactly what I was looking for.

Natural Collection is available in Boots stores and the products all are below £2.00 which is great value. More often than not they also have a 3 for 2 offer on which is even better.

I picked up the Neutral Pressed Powder, it is a pale ivory colour which is almost translucent when applied with a large fluffy powder brush so it is great for setting liquid foundations and reducing shine.

It is a very soft powder which I prefer and not at all chalky like some cheaper powder products can be they are also very lightweight on the skin. The pressed powders come in three shades, warm, cool and neutral.
The only downside to this powder is that it doesn't have amazing lasting power so be prepared to reapply a few times throughout the day especially if you have an oilier skintype, but for the price who can complain.

The Natural Collection Pressed Powders retail at £1.99 from Boots Stores and online at Boots.com.
