Festival Must-Have - Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream

Thursday, May 30, 2013

I'll apologise in advance as I'm more than likely going to be bombarding everyone with festival nonsense in the near future as Glastonbury is just over 3 weeks away and I can't begin to tell you how excited I am.

As a seasoned "festival go-er" one product I couldn't be without is a decent, hydrating moisturiser.
Nothing dehydrates your skin more than a four or five days of sun (hopefully), alcohol and washing your face with wipes so it is essential to make sure you keep your skin hydrated.

My moisturiser of choice is Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream which is a lightweight formula and can be used day or night. It keeps on hydrating the skin for up to 24 hours so it really isn't necessary to reapply often however I just love the way it sinks into the skin and slather it on at every opportunity.

I'm not a fan of scented moisturisers so the Ultra Facial Cream is perfect for me as it has little to no scent at all.
It contains Antarcticine which helps to prevent dryness and shield against free-radicals as well as Impereta Cylindrica, a plant extract, which provides an immediate and lasting hydrating effect.

It leaves my skin feeling really soft and fresh which I love and helps my makeup to go on smoother.
A little goes a long way with this product so you will be surprised at how long the tub will last. Since I started using the Ultra Facial Cream about 6 months ago I have seen a big difference in the condition of my skin.
I'll definitely be taking a tub of this in my festival rucksack this year!

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream starts at £24.00 for a 50ml tub or £43.50 for 125ml You can buy online at the Kiehl's website or from a Kiehl's concession in most major department stores. Kiehl's also have an amazing standalone store in Edinburgh's George Street. Why not pop in for a free skin consultation.
