I'm not normally one who enjoys celebrity endorsed fragrances I'm more a classic Chanel perfume wearer but as it was free I thought... why not try it out.
Fame is a Lady Gaga's first fragrance and is in collaboration with her own Haus Laboritories Paris and Coty and was launched in September 2012.
Although Fame still has these separate notes they do not follow the usual pyramid form. The ingredients are mixed to highlight different aspects of each fragrant note at the same time.
The notes are referred to as "accords" and has three; dark, sensual and light.
The dark accord includes posionus flower Belladonna and incence, sensual is honey, saffron and apricot and the light accords bring jasmine and tiger orchid.
I was really surprised at the scent, its right up my street and along the lines of Illamasqua's Freak. It is a deep, sensual fragrance that is more suited to evening wear but to be honest I've been spritzing it on all day.
Fame comes in a glass oval bottle with a gold, spikey lid (which does double up as quite a dangerous weapon especially if you stand on it as I did recently...ouch) however the liquid itself is the more interesting part as its black. However fear not, it won't stain your skin/clothing it turns clear once out the bottle
I've had a lot of compliments on this perfume when I have been wearing recently however the only problem is it doesn't have great lasting power, I found I've had to reapply a few times throughout a night out as the scent just doesn't seem to want to stay put.
