Michael Kors Summer Scents

Saturday, March 26, 2016

I have all my fingers (and toes) crossed that this year we'll finally get a bit of Summer sun. It might be wishful thinking for the West of Scotland but a girl can dream.
The new Michael Kors Summer Fragrances are getting me right in the mood for lying around in the sunshine (preferably on a beach somewhere).

I'm a big fan of Michael Kors previous fragrances. I constantly wear the 24K Brilliant Gold from last year's Michael Kors Gold Fragrance collection but I feel its more of a wintery scent.
MK has launched two new perfumes for Spring Summer 16, Michael Kors Coral and Michael Kors Sexy Sunset. Both fragrances are classic summer scents but each have their own individual style.

Michael Kors Coral Eau De Parfum (£39.00, 30ml, £58.00, 50ml and £79.00, 100ml) - This scent is totally tropical: if they bottled the scent of Summer days then this would be it! Coral is a floral, fruity fragrance with zesty lemon, grapefruit and mandarin, blackcurrant and pink pepper with a warm base of cedar and sandlewood. I constantly find myself sniffing the bottle as it is a beautiful fragrance. MK has gone for a chunkier, shorter bottle for this limited edition scent.

Michael Kors Sexy Sunset Eau de Parfum (£39.00, 30ml, £58.00, 50ml and £79.00, 100ml) -  If Coral is for Summer days then Sexy Sunset is definitely an evening scent. A warm, seductive blend of pear, lotus flower, blackcurrant and freesia with magnolia, jasmine and a woody base. This is perfect for warm summer nights as although its quite a heady and alluring scent it sits lightly on the skin and isn't overpowering. The pink fragrance comes housed in Michael Kors Classic bottle with decadent gold lid and slight, golden iridescence to the glass. I love displaying these bottles on my dressing table. Sexy Sunset comes in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml.
