My week on Instagram #7

Sunday, August 16, 2015

I've been a little quiet on Instagram this week as we had a bit of an issue in our flat. It was nothing major and has been mostly dealt with now so feel like I can finally (almost) relax a bit and get on with things.
I was rushing one day this week and didn't have time to fix my face before work, then I realised I had left my makeup bag on the bed when I got there so had to make do with the random makeup floating around my handbag (There is always at least 5 different products at the bottom). Thankfully I had all the basics covered and had my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, L'Oreal Superliner (which I think is rubbish and will review soon), new Lancome Hypnose Volume-a-Porter Mascara and a brand new Shadow Stick from Bobbi Brown (all will be revealed soon) as well as a dozen lip products and Crabtree and Evelyn Pomegranate Hand Therapy.
I can't get enough of these fancy Arizona tea drinks, apparently they are popular in the US and I've seen them in Americandy style shops for about £3-4 which is a bit ridiculous. I got mine in Home Bargains for 69p, they have loads of flavours. I've been trying to relax a bit more too recently as I've been burning the candle at both ends a little too often. A good Lush Bath and a book usually sorts me out. I used the Experimenter bath ballistic recently, its amazing and definitely a contender for my favorite from Lush. I picked up The Lemon Grove by Helen Walsh in a charity shop as needed something new to read. Its ok so far but not usually my type of book.

On Friday I went along to see Silverburn's new Winter Garden area. They have extended the food and leisure side to include loads more restaurants and a massive Cineworld Cinema. I was invited to a Supper Safari Club which was a really fun event. We started with drinks at TGI Friday, Starters (a mountain of food) at Cosmo Buffet, Main's at Wagamama (I had Yasai Surendra's Curry) and Coffee/Cakes at  Pret, (Soy vanilla late and lemon cake for me, yum)
I was pretty stuffed by the end of the day and really pleased at the vegerarian/nut free options available (I'm a little awkward with the old dietery requirements)
I also popped along for a makeup lesson at Bobbi Brown in Debenhams but I'll share more details about that in another post
