I have always been a massive fan of MAC Select Foundation. It was one of the first high end foundations I bought when I was younger and its a staple in my makeup collection. I've always been a bit of a Select snob and not wanting to try any other of MAC's foundation offerings as I loved it so much.
Recently however MAC's newest foundation Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof caught my eye for two reasons initially. The first being that its waterproof and the second that it comes in a sqeeezy tube/bottle. I'm off to Glastonbury this week so it sounded like a handy one to bring with me.
In all honesty I didn't expect to like it so much, I swatched it on my hand and thought it would be a little too gel like for my liking but after applying it to my face I can safely say I absolutely love it.


Its very different too Select foundation, its much thicker and gel like, similar to studio sculpt but the coverage and finish is beautiful and very long-lasting. The I'm looking forward to seeing how it copes during the festival (I'll report back). I'd say the foundation is a medium to high coverage but could easilly be applied lightly with fingers or a stippling brush for a lighter finish.
I usually wear an NW15 but this is an NW20 and is a great shade for me as sometimes in the summer I like to go a teeny bit darker.
