Silverburn Beauty Picks

Friday, April 10, 2015

Silverburn shopping centre recently held a fantastic Spring Beauty Fix event. I had a lovely breakfast in Debenhams with some fellow bloggers and checked out what great beauty offers were to be had.
I took home more than a few goodies from the centre, some of my top Silverburn beauty picks are;

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue (£26.00 via Debenhams) -Their newest liquid foundation product and a total winner in my books. A tinted hydrating gel cream that helps brighten and perfect the skin. This is the perfect base for summer and contains an SPF30.
Urban Decay Naked Basics (£23.00 via Debenhams) - A great, travel friendly, everyday neutral palette you can read a full review in my this post.
Dior Lip Glow (£24.00 via Debenhams) - This might seem a little pricey for a lipbalm but trust me, you will love it. It's a "your lips but better" product which has a cool minty scent and leaves the lips feeling soft and smooth. It lasts surprisingly longer than a normal lipbalm too. It comes in a pink and a coral shade.
Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara (£22.50 via Debenhams) - The dual sided brush helps create long and voluminous lashes. Blacker than black and long lasting. It also removes easily so no need to scrub to get rid of pesky residue.
Michael Kors Sporty Citrus (£39-£57.00 via Debenhams) - This Eau de Parfum has notes of mandarin, citrus and woody florals. Its light enough for wearing during the day and interesting enough to last through the night.
Georgio Armani Si (£42-£54.00 via Debenhams) - I seem to favour fruity fragrances and Si also contains mandarin and pear notes with a refreshing blackcurrrant sorbet finish. (perfume descriptions always make me giggle)
Roger & Gallet  Fleur de Figuer Fragrant Water Spray (£32.00 via Marks & Spencer) - Possibly one of my all time favorite scents. This is sweet and floral, almost summer in a bottle. I spritz this at every available opportunity. You'll be hooked after one sniff.
Dr. Organic Morrocan Argan Oil Serum (£14.99 via Holland & Barratt) - I'm often asked the secret behind my shiny hair and this is it. It has a sort of hippyish scent but leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth. I apply it to the ends and lengths when wet. Its fantastic for anyone with dull, dry hair.
L'Oreal True Match Foundation (£9.99 via Superdrug) - I've heard loads of people rave about this foundation over the years but never tried it myself until recently. I can now see what the fuss is all about. Great coverage and a wide range of shades.
