My Week on Instagram #3

Sunday, February 22, 2015

I got my new laptop this week, hooray! You really don't appreciate technology fully until it breaks and you have none. I'm so happy that I'm back to blogging properly now. Its an HP Pavillion. It only came in pink though which I'm not sure about but it has decent spec. Speaking of breaking technology, my Xperia Z1 Compact phone fell out my pocket and took a little tumble down the loo recently and broke (it's easily done, I assure you) Its meant to be waterproof up to 1.5m. Thankfully it was still under warranty so I've had it replaced, I felt like I was missing a body part going a week without it. I bought a new Ouija Board style case from ebay, although I've realised it has a misprint, that'll teach me.
Flamingo Candles released a gorgeous limited edition Love Bug candle for Valentines day. Its no longer available but they have loads of gorgeous scents to choose from. Cheescake Crunch is next on my list.
I can't get enough of Harry Potter, I had a nice relaxing day today watching The Deathly Hallows and enjoying a gingerbread latte. It was a good day!

Last week I decided to have a bit of a Primark splurge. I bought myself some new boots and sandshoes, Harry Potter socks and Tshirt (amazing) and some black skinny jeans. I actually bought 4 pairs of these because they are really comfy and only £13. I hate when you have a comfy everyday pair of jeans and they they sell out so I like to buy in bulk.
This weekend was henna weekend, I dread and love this in equal parts as my hair is always super shiny afterwards, but it does take hours of  messiness and mud dripping down your face. I've written about the Henna process here.
I received this lovely necklace from Argento, its perfect for spring and summer. I love the aqua beads.
If you live in Glasgow and haven't been to Martha's yet you need to get yourself along asap! I decided to venture away from my usual C-Moregreen Smoothie and went for a Beat the Beet Megajuice, It was pretty tasty. I'm also wearing the Sun, Moon and Stars Babydoll dress from Motel, its one of my favs.

I broke the zip on my beloved Illamasqua makeup bag the other day. It probably was my own fault as I try to cram as much as possible into it like a game of cosmetic Tetris. This time I lost, sniff!
I did however discover that the Sainsbury's across the road from my office now does mini cakes which are included in the lunchtime meal deals. This is dangerous for me as the red velvet cake bar is a bit too moreish.
I met up with Illamasqua  this week to chat about some new launches, I gave you a sneek peek of the new gel colours which are launching in March. I predict they will be a must have product for 2015.
I normally stick to a smoothie or porridge for breakfast but I found these amazing raspberry flavour Shreddies type cereal. Its a little addictive.

This week has 100% been all about the brow-game! I had my brows tinted and waxed at Peaches Wax Bar in Glasgow. They have the perfect shade for me and did a fantastic job with the shape.
Illamasqua also launched four new Precision Brow Gels. I've been using the shade Glimpse which is great if you have red or auburn hair like me. The staying power is phenomenal, I showered with it on and they were still perfect.
I had my makeup done at the Urban Decay counter in Debenhams this week to try some of the new products. Gemma did a lovely job I liked it so much I recreated my own version the following day. I love the new Moondusts, especially Zodiac which is a deep forest green.
