Whats In My Handbag?: Everyday Edition

Monday, August 18, 2014

I love having a nosy into other people's handbags.
I carry a lot of rubbish about with me on a daily basis so its nice to see I'm not the only one.
First up, my handbag for work and daily use is this black faux leather, studded bag from Anna Smith.I got this from eBay for around £25.00.  Its a great size and has three compartments. I, however am the handbag destroyer and managed to break the little latch on the little front pocket. It flapped around a lot and the metal clinked every time I walked so I've had to glue it shut for now. I only ever kept my Fisherman's Friend tin in it though, nothing exciting.

On to the contents, I will be the first to admit that I lug around far too much;

Purse: New Look (similar in white)
Phone: Sony Xperia Z1 Compact Black
Phone Charging Cable/Mini Powerpack Charger (not pictured, I forgot this was still on charge)
Glasses Case: for my specs so I can see, this one is a mega cheap, Cath Kidson lookalike from Home Bargains
Ray Ban Sunglasses: Probably a little optimistic for Glasgow.
Hearing Aid Case/Batteries: I have a hearing impairment following an accident a few years ago.
Tissues: Home Bargains
Black Umbrella: It frequently rains in Glasgow, pretty self explanatory.
Mini Hair Brush/Bobble/Kirby Grips: To keep my hair in check.
Heart Mirror: Boux Avenue
Diary and Pen: I need a proper written diary to keep up with my life, can't deal with digital.
Earphones: I think these were around £5.00 from Tesco.
Nail Glue: to mend nails/glue handbag and other broken items.
Painkillers/Antihistamines/Inhalers(not pictured): I like to have some paracetamol with me at all times, just incase. I also have allergies/asthma (boo)
Travel Toothbrush/Toothpaste: I like to brush after every meal, Colgate Total is my favourite.
Hand Cream: Arran Aromatics Citrus Shores
Hand Sanitizer: The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit
Face Wipes: I normally just buy cheap ones, these are Superdrug Cleansing Facial Wipes
Tea: Higher Living Green Tea Chai, Life is too short to drink bad tea, always be prepared!
Reading Material: I'll either have my tablet or a good old fashioned paperback. At the moment I'm reading The Night Circus by Erin Morganstern.

Makeup Bag: This is a little clear plastic ziplock from Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh. Its a little like Tetris trying to fit everything in though. (I'll do a separate post on whats inside)
Eyeshadow Palette: MUA Matte Palette
False Lashes: In case of lash emergencies, these are from Eldora.
Zoeva Brush Bag: Brushes I use on a daily basis.
Blistex and Lip Balm: Nobody likes chapped lips
