Two Looks, One Brand - Benefit Cosmetics

Thursday, June 26, 2014

I gave myself a little challenge recently to create two complete makeup looks using one brand only. For my first "Two Looks, One Brand" I've used products from Benefit to create a day and night look, or a full "Bene-Face" as I like to call it.
I've used the same five base products for both looks and then changed up the eyes, cheeks and lips.

The Porefessional Primer (£24.50)
Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow - Ivory, I'm Pure for Sure (£26.50)
Boing Industrial Strength Concealer in light/medium (£17.50 from Realness of Concealness Mini Fakeup Kit)
Brow Zings - Medium (£24.50)
The Porefessional Agent Zero Shine Powder (£23.50)

The first look I tried out was summery and bronzed. I kept the cheeks light and peachy and used gold shades from The Most Glamorous Nudes ever to sweep over my lids. Gimmie Brow also gives lashes really natural definition and Eye Bright gives an almost doll-like look.

World Famous Neutrals - Most Glamourous Nudes Ever (£23.50)
Gimmie Brow (as mascara) - Light (£17.50 )
Eye Bright (£15.50)
Fine One One (Coral shade) (£23.50)
Ultra Plush Lipgloss (from Love at First Shine Kit) - A- Lister (£14.50)
Fine One One (Highlight shade) (£23.50)
Georgia Box o' Powders (sadly discontinued, Dandelion is similar but more pink toned)

For an evening look, I smoked out my eyes using the Sexiest Nudes Ever Palette, lined my waterline with Badgal and created some cat shape eyes using the new They're Real Push-Up Liner and Mascara. A slick of red lippy and Coralista gloss/blush to finish.

World Famous Neutrals - Sexiest Nudes Ever (£23.50)
Bad Gal Black Liner (old packaging, £15.50)
They're Real Push-up Liner (available 28th June)
They're Real Mascara (£19.50)

Coralista Ultra Plus Gloss (£14.50)
Lipstick in Flirt Alert (discontinued, Hydra Smooth Lipcolour in Dare Me is similar)
Coralista Box o' Powders (£23.50)

Benefit Products can be purchased via the Benefit Website or in Benefit Concessions.
