Spring Has Sprung...

Wednesday, April 16, 2014

Spring has finally sprung however its still a little chilly in Glasgow to be breaking out the shorts and vests yet.
I've been experimenting with ways to keep warm without looking like I'm stuck in mid winter and this cropped Spring Knit (£9.99) from BritFash is perfect for keeping cosy in April.
The mint green shade is right on trend for the SS14 season and can easily be dressed up with a pencil skirt or worn with high waist-ed shorts for a more casual look.

I've been pairing this with some skinny jeans and a plain vest keeping accessories to a minimum (You might spy my very cool and not geeky in the slightest Deathly Hallows chain). I picked up the floral headband at Glastonbury Festival.
I'm absolutely loving Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuer Eau Fraiche(£26.50) it is a gorgeous light scent perfect for Spring, I've been spritzing it on at every opportunity, I just can't get enough of it, yum!

I like to keep my makeup fairly neutral at this time of the year however I couldn't resist adding a pop of colour on my lower lashline using the Urban Decay Electric Palette.
For this Spring look I'm wearing;

Face:
Makeup Forever HD Foundation shade 115
Natural Collection Translucent Powder
Illamasqua Powder Blush in Disobey
MAC Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul

Eyes:
Illamasqua Eyebrow Cake in Stark
MAC eyeshadow in Mylar, Club and Omega
Urban Decay Pressed Pigment in Thrash
Makeup Forever Smokey Extravagant Mascara
Urban Decay Ink for Eyes Liner
Eylure Lashes

Lips:
Urban Decay Naked Nourishing Lipgloss in Nooner
