The Quest for Radiant Skin Continues.....

Sunday, December 01, 2013

I've been on a bit of a mission lately to get my skin looking radiant.
While I’m a huge fan of a good old exfoliating scrub, their effects only ever seem to last a few days at best before my skin goes back to its normal dull self.

A combination of working in the busy city centre and the wintery weather seems to add to this and make things much worse at this time of the year. I love the look of Hayden Panettiere's skin. She always looks glowing and healthy. (The gorgeous weather in Nashville probably helps this when she is filming)

I’ve been looking at more (well slightly more) permanent ways of helping my skin look its best.  There are lots of different treatments which promise glowing, radiant skin and one of these is Laser Skin Resurfacing. This type of treatment is non evasive and uses laser pulses to create tiny ablative zones, removing the epidermis and upper dermis (basically removes the first, tiny, few layers of skin) to leave you with rejuvenated and baby soft skin underneath.

The treatment effectively dusts away the old skin to restore smoother glowing skin and promises improvements in just 2-4 treatments. Sounds great to me. There are also treatments such as Clearlift which use sound and thermal waves to restore skin underneath the epidermis so virtually no downtime is required

I'll of course need to do some further research before undertaking any treatments like this. Its important you make sure to discuss with a reputable company such as Epilight New Skin Clinics to make an informed decision.
Have any of you tried any Laser Skin Resurfacing treatments?
