Grow Wild in Scotland & Afternoon Tea Giveaway!

Grow Wild is an exciting campaign to help bring people together and sow UK native wild flowers and transform unused spaces within the community.


The campaign is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and led by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew  and will be creating four inspirational Grow Wild sitess, one in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

There are three sites which have currently been shortlisted for the  Scottish part of the campaign and these are;
  • Belville Community Garden, Greenock
  • Frog Pond, Dedridge, Livingston, West Lothian
  • The Water Works, Barrhead, East Renfrewshire

You can help decide which site will win a £100,000 transformation by visiting vote.growwilduk.com.
Voting closes at midnight on the 3rd November 2013.


The Belville Community Garden in Greenock has my vote as it is within my home town and will be a fantastic addition to the area.
