Bohemian Naturals Natural Perfume

I had been on the hunt for the perfect Summer fragrance and I've eventually found it.

Normally when it comes to fragrances I tend to stick to old favourites however its not very practical to lug around a huge bottle of Chanel Coco at Glastonbury and its also not the best festival scent.

Thankfully, Indian Davana by Bohemian Naturals found its way into my life.

Bohemian Naturals philosophy is right up my street, the products are all hand crafted with pure botanical essences, organic alcohol and orchid extract. No harsh chemicals such as parabens, SLS, phthalates or other synthetic nasties are used in the products.
The company was founded by Shannon Victoria, a Californian who moved to Edinburgh in pursuit of adventure. Bohemian Naturals was created from her love of nature and luxury and has definitely brought both of those together in its fragrances.

Indian Davana is the perfect scent for me, it has just the right blend of spices and florals which creates a sensual yet earthy scent. The fragrance has notes of patchouli, amber, sandalwood and pink grapefruit.
I have recently been quite obsessed with The Body Shop's Pink Grapefruit EDT as it is fantastic for spritzing on during summer days however it can be a little too uplifting for evenings out.
Indian Davana isn't as sweet as this and has darker tones so its perfect for warm summer nights.
The bottles themselves come in beautiful handmade fabric bags which the founder came across in a Parisian market. These are very unique and add to the luxurious feel of the perfumes.

My only grumble with Bohemian Naturals is that the bottles retail at £30 for 4ml of fragrance, however I have been using mine fairly often for a few weeks and still have most of the bottle left. The scents seem to last for quite some time and the rollerball allows you to have control over usage.
While I think they are really handy, smell gorgeous and a great size for carrying around, I'm not sure if I could justify buying this again for myself. I think however, that the Bohemian Naturals range would make a lovely and really unique gift for a friend of family member.

They have two other scents as well as Indian Davana which are Thai Sunshine and Amber Rose (£30 for 4ml) as well as offering a sample set of all three ( 3x 1/4 ml for £8) to allow you to try before you buy. The sample set also gives you £5 off a full size product.
