Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara

Monday, February 04, 2013

I'm always on the hunt for the perfect mascara and recently I've been using Rimmel's latest offering the Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara.

This is the second Lash Accelerator mascara Rimmel have released, the first a few years ago was one of my favorite mascaras so I was really looking forward to trying the new version of this.

It comes in a slightly different tube than the first Lash Accelerator as it is more angled and slightly larger in size. The corners of the lid make it easy to grip and apply.
In keeping with the original Lash Accelerator, it has a plastic, spiky wand which means that the mascara will be better for adding length rather than volume. I really like using the spiked wands as I find I can get right into every single lash easily with these.

This mascara would make a fantastic daytime mascara as you get a very natural finish with one coat, however you can build up the coats for a more dramatic look. The spiky brush also acts as a comb so clumping is kept to a minimum when applying more than one coat.

So far I'm a fan of this mascara, its not the best I've used but its up there, its great for wearing to work when I prefer to keep my makeup minimal.
I think its an amazing bottom lash mascara as it gives them so much length, the is tapered slightly which is really useful for getting right into those tiny corner lashes.

Lash Accelerator Endless mascara promises to make your lashes instantly look up to 80% longer and also has Grow-Lash Complex which is a last treatment which claims to give up to 117% visibly longer looking lashes after 30 days of use.

I'm not quite sure where the complex percentages came from but I can say I do find my lashes look longer straight away, I've not yet worn this for 30 days but I'll do a follow up post to let you know.

Lash Accelerator Endless* mascara will be out in the UK fairly soon for £5.99 and will be available from the Rimmel website and more than likely most major Boots and Superdrug Stores.
