Its no secret I am a total hair dye addict, I change my colour almost every month but recently I've been looking to ditch the dye and try to get my hair back to as close to its natural shade as possible.

After stripping my hair of colour, popped into Superdrug to try and find a shade as close to what my natural shade should be, I picked up Colour Vibrance hair dye in Rich Copper Gold, which looks slighter lighter on the box than my natural colour but as it was fairly close I decided to try it out.

Colour Vibrance  dyes come with three main parts, a tube of creme colour, bottle of developer and a tube of intensive colour conditioner as well as plastic gloves and instructions.
Like most other box dyes, the creme colour is added to the developer and shaken before being applied to the hair. The developer bottle makes it simple and easy to apply using the nozzle however I prefer to pour it into a bowl and use a tint brush to apply after shaking but that's just my preference.

Before
After the developing time, which for me was around 30 minutes, I rinsed off the dye in the shower and applied the intensive conditioner for 10 minutes and wrapped my hair in a towel. I like to do this after I dye to ensure my hair is kept in the best possible condition.
Its always best to judge hair colourants on dry hair as the shade can look a lot darker when its wet.

I was really happy with the colour as I've used Colour Vibrance dyes in the past and found they weren't exactly as I expected but Rich Copper Gold was almost true to the box although a tiny bit darker. My hair was a lot duller before but now has a lovely copper sheen.

After
Colour Vibrance box dyes are Superdrugs own brand of dye and come in a huge range of colours from blondes and blacks to browns and reds so something for everyone. They are also cruelty free and BUAV approved.
Colour Vibrance dyes retail at betweet £3-£5 and are available in most Superdrug stores and the Superdrug website.
