Benefit Fine One One at Hard Rock Edinburgh
Friday, January 25, 2013If you are anything like me and prefer to have an extra half hour in bed than to get up early to get ready for the world then Benefit's newest offering is exactly what you will be looking for.
Fine One One is Benefit's first cream cheek product and contains 3 complimentary shades, a coral-peach, watermelon pink and pearly highlighter.
Keeping with Benefit's quirky packaging, Fine One One comes in an 80's style, shiny, pink case, and has a handy twist up style applicator (a bit like a cream deodorant) Fine One One is designed to be applied directly from the stick by swiping it up and over the cheekbones to create a fresh peachy-pink glow.
You can apply Fine One One in a multitude of ways including;
- Swiping all three shades across the cheeks for a bright pop of colour,
- Picking out each shade individually using a brush, fingers or by using the edges of the stick.
- Highlighting the brow-bone, cheek-bones, nose and cupids bow.
- As a lipstick either using one shade or all three.
I would recommend using a good lip balm before using it as a lip product, as it is more of a long lasting stain which can be slightly dying on the lips.
This product will look gorgeous and bright on pale skin-tones like me as well as acting as a fresh highlighter on those with darker skin-tones. I can see this becoming a staple in my everyday makeup bag.
I've just had surgery so still looking a little rough but I really like how Fine One One brightens up my face.
I attended the launch of Fine One One was held at Edinburgh's Hard Rock Cafe where I was able to try out the new products as well as sample Hard Rocks famous burgers and cocktails. I've also developed quite a taste for French Martinis and Key Lime Pie.. mmm...
Fine One One is available from tomorrow, Saturday 26th January 2013 from Benefit concessions and the Benefit website and retails at £23.50 for 8g of product.
The Hard Rock Cafe is situated on Edinburgh's George Street and can be contacted on or by visiting the website for bookings.
