No. 7 Protect and Perfect Intense Serum - Review

Tuesday, November 13, 2012

Now that winter is well and truly here in Glasgow, my winter skincare regime has kicked off.
In the colder months I tend to change my normal skincare products for more intense versions to stop my skin from drying out and keeping it in tip top condition.

A staple product (and winter lifesaver) for me is Boots No.7 Protect and Perfect Intense Serum.

This serum, is a very highly coveted beauty product and was near impossible to get a hold of when it was first released. I've been using it for a few years now and can safely say, for me, it definately lives up to the hype.

The serum has been independantly proven to restore the skin's structure with regular use and immediately improve skin's radiance after the first application.

It is a velvety smooth serum which instantly absorbs into the skin leaving it feeling soft and ever so slightly tight,

After 4 weeks of use the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles can be reduced by up to 50% and after 6 months of use wrinkles can be visibly reduced.

I've not got any wrinkles myself as of yet thankfully, but I have noticed some fine lines around my eye area so hopefully by using this serum daily I'll be doing some early damage control on those.

I find that the intense serum really does help to keep my skin in great condition and feel really hydrated over the winter and keeps any dry, chapped skin at bay.

It comes in a very classy frosted glass bottle with a pump dispenser, two or three pumps is more than enough to do your whole face and neck area as a little goes a long way with this serum.
(I've recently found out that the packaging has changed, it is now a clear bottle with black and teal lid)

I swear by this product for winter use and so does my Mum, Gran and Aunt. I like to use this alongside other No.7 Protect and Perfect products for the best winter skin protection.

No. 7 Protect and Perfect Intense Serum retails for £23.00 for 30ml.
No. 7 Products can be found in most Boots stores and the Boots website
