Illamasqua Powder Blusher - Disobey

Wednesday, November 14, 2012

I often find it difficult to find a good contour shade for my skintone. I'm quite fair skinned so often bronzing or contouring products can give a slightly "muddy" look which isn't great.

However recently I've been using a Disobey which is a powder blush from Illamasqua and I find it to be a great match.

Disobey is a light, matte, biscuit shade, I like to sweep this over my cheekbones, temples, under my jawline and the sides of my nose to contour my face and help give my bone structure that extra little bit of definition without being over the top.
I find Illamasqua highlighter brush is perfect for this as it picks up just the right amount of product and helps it blend well.

Illamasqua powder blushes come in a variety of shades as well as matte and shimmer finishes. They are amazingly pigmented so take your brush to these with a light hand  to avoid any "clown cheek" moments, but this also means they double up as great, bright eyeshadows.
In keeping with all Illamasqua products they come housed in sleek black, glossy packaging with a window on the front which makes it easy to see the shade inside.

Illamasqua powder blushes retail at £18.00 from Illamasqua stores, counters or the Illamasqua website.
If you are in the Glasgow area I'd reccomend visiting the Illamasqua counter in Argyle Street Debenhams as the staff are all really friendly and helpful.
