Benefit The Porefessional - Review

Saturday, November 10, 2012

Primers are fantastic products, I think they really make foundation sit better on your skin as well as just generally making your face look really smooth and airbrushed.

Benefit The Porefessional is one of Benefit's bestselling products and has been flying off the shelves since it was created.
It can be used in two ways, either smoothed in a thin layer all over the face or patted onto problem areas such as the t-zone. I normally use this all over my face in the morning before I apply my makeup and after I've applied my moisturiser and then pat it on throughout the day if I notice any shine, which to be honest I don't really notice.

The Porefessional comes in a squeezy tube with the usual cute, Benefit packaging.
It is a beige coloured, slightly grainy, gel feeling product which then feels smooth as silk when applied to the skin. None of the colour is transfered to the skin. This can be worn under foundation for lasting power or on its own for smooth silky, non shiny skin.

Worn alone The Porefessional quickly minimises the appearance of pores and fine lines which results in smoother looking skin. I normally wear this under my normal foundation and I can also report that as well as making it blend easier it really adds to the lasting power and helps it stay perfect all day.

Without Benefit Porefessional
Although it doesn't make my pores disappear completely I definately notice a significant improvement after using this so definately a winner with me.
I've already got a few backups of this so won't be running out anytime soon.

With Benefit Porefessional
The Porefessional retails at £23.50 for 22ml which is great as a little goes a long way so it will last for ages.
Benefit products are available from most major cosmetics departments as well as the Benefit Cosmetics website.
