Benefit Box O' Powders Review - Coralista

Monday, October 01, 2012

I love Benefit ’s Box O’ Powders I wish I had all of them but unfortunately I have only a few.
My newest Box O’ Powders is Coralista, I’ve lusted after this for ages so I couldn’t wait to try it out when I got it.

Coral blushers are my thing; I find they work really well with my fair skin-tone however they also look really flattering on most skin-tones as they brighten the face and add a lovely natural flush of colour.
I’ve been wearing this almost every day since I’ve had it. Normally I wear Illamasqua Lover as my staple blush which is great for summer however it may be a little too bright for Autumn/Winter wear so Coralista, being deeper and more pink toned is perfect for making a seasonal transition with the Coral blush trend.
I love the packaging on Benefit  Box O’ Powders and Coralista is no exception, in fact, I think it may be my favorite. The funky, shiny, animal/jungle print really stands out from other blushers and is instantly recognizable; it looks great in my makeup bag.
It also contains a little brush which is much softer than previous brushes so I think they may also have made some changes there. I prefer to use my own blusher brush out of habit but this little one, although not amazing does get the job done.
I know that some people were a little unhappy that the product size also changed when the new packaging was brought in however costs would be higher for this new packaging therefore cuts had to be made somewhere. I personally don’t mind at all I’d rather have the mirror as the Box O’ Powders last for ages anyway.
As Benefit say; Coralista is a “Rio” pleasure to use and one sweep across the cheekbones certainly does bring a hint of carnival brightness to my day, not to mention the absolutely gorgeous scent.
Coralista and other Box O’ Powders are available from Benefit  counters and the Benefit  website for £23.50 for 8.0g.

There are several great Benefit  counters in Glasgow, including House of Fraser on Buchanan Street, Debenhams on Argyle Street and Silverburn as well as most of the larger Boots stores.
