Nip & Fab Dragon's Blood

I’ve had a horrible cold this week and when I get sick my skin really suffers.
I’m stuck in an air conditioned office the majority of the week which means that coughs and colds just seem to constantly circulate. My skin is fairly dehydrated at the best of times but when I’m ill it gets ten times worse. My skin can look very dull and my makeup doesn’t go on as smoothly as I’d like it to.

I find that at times like this it’s sometimes necessary to change my skincare routine. Many think that the same skincare should be used all the time but that isn’t always the case. I’ve recently been using a full range of La Prairie skincare products which I love, but I think that it’s important to have a good look and feel of your face to identify any problem areas or issues that might appear.

To try and fix my poor dehydrated skin, I’ve been incorporating some products from Nip and Fab’s Dragons Blood Fix Range. I’ve been using the Dragons Blood Fix Cleansing Pads (£9.95) after removing my makeup as a sort of hydrating toner and the Dragons Blood Hyaluronic Shot (£24.95) to add extra hydration.

What I like about the Dragon's Blood Fix range is that it can be used alongside your normal skincare products. A few drops of the Hyaluronic shot can be mixed in with your normal moisturiser to increase hydration or on its own as an intensive mask treatment.  Apparently the Dragon’s Blood range is a favourite of Kylie Jenner and the Kardashians. I always feel a bit like Danerys Targaryan when I apply it –definitely a cool name for a range but thankfully it doesn’t contain any real Dragon’s Blood.

Dragon’s Blood contains ingredients which come from the Croton Lechleri (or Dragon's Blood) Tree. The tree has a thick, red sap which is said to have healing properties so definitely explains why my skin feels so good after using it it sort of puts a protective layer on the skin. The products also contain Hyaluronic Acid which is amazing for hydrating the skin.

I'm really impressed with how quickly both of these products have made a difference to my skin.
