Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriching Face Base

I'm a bit moisturiser daft and like to try out as many as possible. I suffer from very dehydrated skin and constantly feel like I need to apply as many creams and potions as possible to combat it.

There is a big difference between dehydrated and dry skin, dry skin typically is rougher and can be flaky whereas dehydrated skin can feel tight and lack radiance. Other than a little dryness around my nose my skin is very dehydrated. It's mostly due to the Scottish weather and the air conditioning in the office. I'm forever using skin brightening and radiance boosting products to try and stop it looking dull.

A product I've been really enjoying recently is Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base (£38.00). I've tried this product in the past when I've had my makeup done at a Bobbi Brown counter and really liked it. It's a multi-use product in the sense that it's a moisturiser, primer and night cream all in one.
It comes housed in a glass jar with black lid, nothing overly special about the packaging, just standard Bobbi, but its the product inside that's worth its weight in gold.

The face base itself is a thick, slightly yellow cream, that said, when applied to the skin it is very light and sinks in almost immediately. You only need a small amount to cover your entire face as a little goes a long way. The oil-free formula contains Shea Butter, Vitamins C, D and E as well as grapefruit and geranium fragrance.

The scent reminds me a little of a herbal, chocolate orange, its definitely not something everyone will enjoy as the citrus is quite strong but I really like it. I'm usually not a fan of overly scented products but this is very nice and nothing too offensive.
It might seem quite expensive however as it's multi-use you won't need to buy a separate primer, day cream or night cream as this does all three very well.

I'd highly recommend this product if you have similar dehydrated skin like mine but it might not be enough on its own for very dry skin.

You can buy Bobbi Brown products online or in Bobbi Brown concessions within most major department stores.
