Kiko Glasgow Fort

Glasgow Fort is one of my favorite shopping destinations. I love the huge, retail park style stores and wide range of restaurants. I was so pleased to hear that cosmetics brand Kiko had opened a dedicated store I had to go along for a visit.

I've visited the Kiko store in London a few times and the store in Glasgow is very similar. Lots of products on display (and I mean lots, Kiko has a massive range of products to suit everyone) and very knowledgeable staff.
What makes Kiko different to other makeup brands is the price point. Kiko products are all very reasonably priced without scrimping on the quality. You could easily pick up a full face of makeup very cheaply. They packaging differs depending on the range. Some are quite basic but other special editions such as the palettes are a bit more fun. These palettes remind me of US college football colours.

Some of my favorite products from the brand are;

Prom Queen Eyeshadow Palette in Stylish Taupes (£15.90) - A nude eyeshadow palette is a staple in any makeup bag. This contains six, buttery soft shades which blend like a dream. Perfect for travelling or popping in your handbag.

All Stars Face Palette in Pretty Rose (£14.90) - This reminds me of my absolute favorite Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette. The quality and shades are very similar, if your purse can't quite stretch to the UD version then this is a slightly cheaper dupe.

Hi-Brow Expert Eyebrow Kit in Blonde and Red Haired (£14.90) - This is a really good kit if you are just venturing into the world of filled in brows. The set contains a brow wax, stencils a little brush, two brow powders and two powder highlighters,

Eyebrow Fibres Coloured Mascara in Auburn (£7.20) - This is great for those (like me) who are a bit lazy but still want a strong brow. Just brush on gently like mascara to give definition and shape.

Eyebrow Sculpt Automatic Brow Pencil in Auburn (£6.90) - This is another on-the-go product, super handy twist up, angled pencil/crayon with a spoolie on the end to tame any stray hairs. This is very waxy and keeps the hair in place all day.

Kajal Pencil (£4.90) - Khol for inside your eyelid/waterline. This is honestly one of the best eyeliner pencils I've ever used. It is super black and lasts all day. I like to smudge this all over my lid for a really simple smoky eye.

Extra Sculpt Volume Mascara in Black (£8.90) Truth be told, I've nearly finished this mascara. I love the way it makes my lashes look. The brush is quite thin in the middle but fatter at each end which gives a great curl with lots of length and volume. Definitely a winner from me.

Kiss Balm in Coconut (£5.90) - My lips have been crying out for hydration recently due to the chilly Spring weather. This balm is very moisturising while giving a gloss effect. Surprisingly its not sticky or greasy. My only issue is that you tend to use quite a lot in one application so they run out fast. I adore the coconut scent.

Colour Sphere Duo Eyeshadow in White Linen/Plum (£3.40) These eyeshadow duos are great value and really handy as they contain two complimentary shades.
