Lancome Skincare

Thursday, November 12, 2015

As soon as the colder weather appears any signs of luminosity or hydration in my skin just packs up and disappears. Fortunately I don't suffer from dry patches however I do have very dehydrated skin which can make my face feel a bit tight sometimes.
This is exacerbated by the air conditioning in my office and wintery weather.

I've changed up my skincare regime completely at the moment and have been using Lancome skincare products in the hope that they will work some magic on me.
In the morning, after I've washed my face I apply Lancome Advanced Genfique Serum (£59.00 for 30ml). This is a Youth Activating Concentrate and helps to keep the skin looking younger and improve radiance and firmness. I apply three drops to my fingertips and then over my face and neck.
Once the serum has sunk in (after around ten minutes) I then apply Lancome Hydra Zen (£39.50) as a day moisturiser. Hydra Zen is an oil in water formulation and intensely moisturises and calms the skin. Finally I apply Lancome Hydra Zen Yeux (£32.00) around my eye focusing on the orbital bone to reduce puffiness.

Once I'm home at the end of the day I like to remove my makeup completely and give my face a good scrub with my Clarisonic Aria. After I've cleansed and made sure sure every scrap of makeup is off I like to apply my night cream which is Lancome Hydra Zen Nuit (£42.00)  and again the Hydra Zen Yeux around my eyes. Hydra Zen Nuit is a little thicker than the day cream and has a nice relaxing scent without being overpowering.
Right before I go to bed I also apply a thin layer of Lancome Visionnaire Nuit Beauty Sleep Perfector (£60.00) which makes my skin feel amazing the following morning.

I'm hoping to keep this routine up as my skin has been feeling lovely and looking much more radiant recently.
You can buy Lancome skincare products via House of Fraser.
