These cold wintery nights have left a chilly feeling in my house recently. I've been trying to stick to warmer scented candles to bring a cozy feeling to the house.

I've mostly been burning Malin and Goetz Dark Rum candle and it has to be noted at how impressed I am with the burn time. This is just a little votive sized candle but I've had it on all week and its still going strong.

Dark rum has top notes of bergamot and plum, middle notes of rum and leather and base notes of amber-patchouli and vanilla. The candle contains 16% Eau de Toilette.
For me, the leather comes across quite strong but its balanced by the sugary vanilla and rum scents. Its almost a caramel scent.

I adore this scent, its right up my street. I often get a little sick of fruity or floral scents Dark Rum is the perfect antidote to these.
