One thing I love about this time of year is that I can start wearing gorgeous autumnal shades again. I love all the beautiful bronzes and golds of the season. They suit most skin tones and eye colours too.

I've been using the Beyond Sunset eye shadow palette by Daniel Sandler a lot recently as the shades are just perfect for this season.


Daniel Sandler products always have such a luxurious feel, this palette is no different. It comes housed in a metallic gold case with a decent sized mirror. Its fairly weighty and sturdy enough to survive being bashed around my makeup bag a lot which is a big plus for me as I tend to chuck makeup around a bit... oops.



The quad contains two matte shades and two shimmer/metallics. Cocoa which is a matte dark brown (which could double up as a brow powder), Sand is a matte taupe shade, Stone is a beautiful shimmery sparkly grey (you could use this as a liner) and Amber is a stunning metallic gold. I find this palette to be incredibly versatile, you can easily create both subtle daytime looks as well as some sexy, smoky, evening eyes.
The shadows themselves are butter soft and highly pigmented a little goes a long way with these. It also goes without saying that these would be perfect for summertime so if you are away chasing some winter sun then this is a must for your holiday makeup kit!
