Nanshy Flat Top Buffer Brush Review

Tuesday, October 15, 2013

I love trying out new makeup brushes, I have countless brushes at home and can find a use for every single one of them.

My current favourite brushes are by Illamasqua, they are fantastic quality, sleek, black and super soft. Its even better that they are cruelty free.
I do find that the Illamasqua range lacks in a decent kabuki to really work foundation into the skin for a flawless finish.

I've recently been using this Flat Top Buffer Brush from Nanshy to apply my foundation and so far I am loving it.
It is the perfect shape for applying, blending and buffing foundation. You can also use this to apply powder and cream blushers.

Nanshy brushes are also cruelty free which is a big plus, the hairs are synthetic which means you can use cream products without worrying about the bristles clogging up.

You may notice that these brushes look very similar to Sigma brushes, I have the Sigma Flat Top Kabuki and I can say they are almost identical but Nanshy doesn't come with such a high price tag.
Also you may notice that my Sigma brush has some major bristle fallout happening. I haven't tested it out enough but after using the Nanshy brush for a few weeks I've not noticed any shedding at all.
Nanshy also retails at around £9.95 while its Sigma counterpart costs $21.00. (around £14.00 not including shipping)

The Flat Top Buffer Brush comes individually or as part of a set, the five piece Kabuki set is definately on my wishlist now.
Nanshy brushes can be bought via BeautyStore4U.
