Real Techniques Stippling Brush

Good Brushes are key to having flawless makeup, Although Illamasqua brushes are my all time favourites, the range does lack a good duo-fibre stippling brush, which is where Real Techniques come in.

I have several Real Techniques brushes including the Core Collection and Starter Set which I use on both myself and clients (different sets obv) and find them to be of great quality and price.

I picked up the Real Techniques Stippling Brush in Boots for £11.99. I've been using Makeup Forever HD Foundation recently and found that the brushes I've been using weren't quite light enough to apply it with but  after a few uses with the Stippling Brush I've been much happier with the results.

The Real Techniques Stippling Brush has been created to provide high definition results with all mediums of makeup.
The duo-fibre design picks up and holds product in the base bristles, while the top, softer bristles provide a smooth, flawless finish.
Its great for applying cream, liquid and powder products, I mostly use it for liquid foundation though.

My only issue with this brush is that it does seem to soak up a lot of product, especially with liquid foundations, so its best to apply these directly to the face then use the brush to buff into the skin for an HD finish.

Pros - Great value and helps creates a flawless base.
Cons - Soaks up a lot of product so you may feel like you need to apply more.
