The Body Shop Pulse Boutique Silverburn

I like nothing better than playing with and testing out new beauty products so when The Body Shop invited me along to their "Pulse Boutique" in Silverburn I couldn't wait to see what they had to offer.

I've always been a fan of the body shop, their White Musk Perfume instantly takes me back to the mid 90's and for some reason reminds me of listening to Space's Spiders album (They are both purple, maybe that's the link?!?)

Nowadays, The Body Shop has a fab new concept, the "Pulse Boutique" which invites customers to try out products in-store. This essentially allows the customer to "try before they buy" and find out more about product scents and textures.

I felt like a kid in a sweet shop when I was handed some little pots to sample some products. I had a great time testing out various body butters and serums.
I love the Satsuma and Pink Grapefruit Body Butters and have completely fallen in love with the Pink Grapefruit Eau de Toilette, I've been spritzing so much I'll be needing a new one soon..oops!

I was most excited about checking out The Body Shop's new cosmetics range. I've used their lip pencil in Beach for as long as I can remember and have tried out their shimmer cubes in the past but I hadn't realised the cosmetics range was so extensive. They have everything you could possibly need including mascara, blush, primers, highlighters, bronzers, eyeshadows, lipstick... you name it, I'm pretty sure they have it.

I'm a huge foundation fan so I've managed to sample each of The Body Shop's foundations and BB Creams which I'll be sharing my thoughts on over the next few weeks. A fave so far is the Moisture Foundation, I've been wearing this a lot recently.

They also have a gorgeous new set of Colour Crush Eyeshadow come in a surprisingly wide range of colours, The teal shade caught my eye straight away and I've been using it a lot recently.

If you haven't been along to The Body Shop in a while I'd highly recommend visiting. I had a great time in store, the staff were hugely knowledgeable about each of the products and also the brand ethics. What makes it even better is that The Body Shop is cruelty free and uses fair trade products.

I normally visit The Body Shop within Silverburn but you can find your nearest using their handy Store Locator.
