Boots 17 nail polishes are some of my favorites, they are cute, affordable and come in a huge range of colours and finishes. I love the size and shape of the bottles and find them really easy to work with.
Potion is from 17's newest line and is an amazing and weird gold/green metallic shade.

I think 17 got the name Potion exactly right with this shade, it really is a bit of a crazy magical colour. In some lights it looks almost lime green but in others a bright shiny gold, it even has bronze tones coming through.


I can't stop staring at my fingernails and moving them around to see the colours change. This nail polish will be great for the Haloween season as its even a little creepy and witchy looking. The photographs make it look more gold than green but you really need to see this for yourself.

Fast finish nail polishes are designed to dry in 60 seconds and although I haven't timed it exactly I can say that it does seem to dry very quickly.
I used two coats but that is mostly out of habit as Potion is opaque with just one.

The only downside to this nail polish is that it does seem to chip a little easilly and can also look a bit dull, so its probably more of a "one night" polish (think GOSH Holographic) but for £2.99 who can complain.
