Whats in My Handbag?

Wednesday, September 19, 2012

I've seen a few bloggers recently doing a "Whats in My Handbag" post so thought I'd also share the items I carry around with me on a daily basis.

First up my handbag... I carry about loads of unnecessary stuff so I need my bag to be really strong and not break, so after going though about a dodgy Primark bag a month (broken straps etc) I decided to bite the bullet and spend a little more than I normally would on a bag and bought this lovely little number.

This bag cost £21.95 (+ £3.95 p&p) from ebay from this seller and I love it, I really like the grey colour and pretty flowery lining. The cool diamonte skull on the front is right up my street.
The bag is also really sturdy and I love how as well as having the magnetic clip closure at the front it also has a chunky zip which is extra safe and will be great for when I'm off on holiday next month incase anything falls out.

I carry a heck of a lot of stuff in my bag on an everyday basis, most of it I don't even need, I've tried downsizing but always seem to need the stuff I've taken out that day so I usually just keep all of it in my bag.

Here are some of my everyday essentials that I lug around with me.

Prestigio Multipad PMP5080b tablet computer - I take this everywhere but I mostly use it for reading books on, it holds absolutely loads of them, I do a lot of my tweeting from this too.
Purse - This is from Dorothy Perkins a few years ago, I need to get a new one as this one is a little big for my liking.
Keys - House/Car/Bottle Openers etc
Phone - well just my phone case, couldn't take a pic of my phone as I was using it as a camera, its a Sony Xperia S phone and I love it, its got a fab 12.5 mpx camera and holds loads of music, its really lightweight too.
Sennheiser over ear headphones - These are great earphones, because of my hearing problems I can't wear the ear bud style so these are perfect for me, they fold up pretty small as well and clip round the back of the ears.
Apple iPod Shuffle - I'll tell you a secret, this is actually my 9 year old brother's, I "borrowed" it ages ago and haven't given it back... oops, 9 year olds don't need iPods anyway.
Glasses - Mine are from Glasses Direct and are the Bella frame but these have since sold out. I got two pairs with anti scratch lenses from this site for £34.00 which is amazing. If you are a specs wearer like me definately check them out.
Skinny Sprinkles - I always carry these with me, to see a full review click here.
Inglot Travel Brush set - I used to carry about a full Illamasqua set of brushes in my handbag which took up loads of room so this brush set is perfect, it has 6 Inglot brushes but I've also squeezed in another 6 MAC SE sized brushes.
Soap and Glory Hand Food - I always keep a good hand cream in my bag, I use this constantly to keep my fingers nice and soft, smells lovely too.
Icom Eye Makeup Remover wipes - these are the perfect size for popping in my handbag, I get these from Home Bargains for 69p for 2 packs.
Impulse Mini Body Spray - I think this one is Love Potion, its a nice, light, floral scent and perfect for freshening up throughout the day.
Aqua di Parma Parfum - Magnolia Nobile, I love this citrusy scent, great for daytime, see a full review here.
Inhalers, Chewing Gum, Painkillers - Usual handbag essentials.

My makeup bag is a red vinyl one from Ruby & Millie, its a great size for holding all my essentials and I love that its wipe clean.
